places that we linger

back in june, i packed my bags for a two-week long stay in nyc. and while i've yet to talk much about it, or create a (lengthy) blog post about my travels, you will start getting more of it, but in pieces.

towards the end of my stay, I had the opportunity to work with a incredibly talented group of artists and models, shooting in some parks in even more amazing clothing.

it always delights me to stumble across someone that inspires me, that becomes a sort of muse. and I think to come across that person is often rare, but I have been lucky to come across not just one, but two. this is brianna beasley and I have photographed her once before in my lost sisters editorial last year. and I've grown to enjoy photographing her immensely and I hope to continue to do so in the future.

these were taken outside (and two inside) my grandfather's house in texas.

Ballad Of...NYC?!

I'm back from NYC! Well..it's been about a week since I came back, but most of that has been spent sleeping and going through photos (which will be published in due time) and preparing to leave for Florida (oh, family vacations)

Without going into some long, romantic, rant about how much I ADORE the city and how it's just perfect and I how I literally fell in love with it...I will leave you with this link to a video that Lindsay Gray, Kevin Davidson, and myself filmed while we were there..documenting our adventures that occurred during the two weeks we stayed there. And Lindsay gets complete credit for the editing!
