every year since 2011, I have photographed Brianna. and I imagine I will continue photographing her at least once every year as long as we can.

family
it was the first time we'd all been together since my grandfather's funeral. and i know we all felt that piece missing. i think i kept expecting him to walk down the hall and into the kitchen and just yell "i'm here! now move i get to go first!"
but he didn't.
these are from the weekend we spent at my grandfather's house.

self
i've always admired the power of cinema and the entire film making process has been quite an obsession to me over the years, even prior to beginning photography. i watch countless amounts of films and they inspire me more than anything else visually.
throughout my photography, i've included cinematic elements and always aimed to capture the moment in between moments that felt the most emotional and most honest. but as of late, i am pushing towards an even more film-like quality to my photography, one that i will begin to merge with my fashion work heavily.
here are a few self portraits i took a few days ago that are stepping stones towards a shift in my work.
