with my photographic style I am always trying to expand what I can do while still retaining my essence of who I am as a photographer. I feel like I have developed a style, but I am constantly working on improving on that style, expanding it to include more variety between shoots and further establish it within me. with this test shoot, I was not aiming to do something extravagant or overly thematic. I wanted to create something simple yet something that could hopefully be identified as mine.

Ballad Of...NYC?!

I'm back from NYC! Well..it's been about a week since I came back, but most of that has been spent sleeping and going through photos (which will be published in due time) and preparing to leave for Florida (oh, family vacations)

Without going into some long, romantic, rant about how much I ADORE the city and how it's just perfect and I how I literally fell in love with it...I will leave you with this link to a video that Lindsay Gray, Kevin Davidson, and myself filmed while we were there..documenting our adventures that occurred during the two weeks we stayed there. And Lindsay gets complete credit for the editing!

earlier this month, I had the privelage to shoot for FD Luxe once again. this time around we were inspired by the great Deborah Turbeville (who is one of my absolute favorite photographers). We were able to spend nearly all day at this fantastic house and oh how I could of spent a whole week photographing that place.
